We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk in Eugene, Oregon. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and supporting the organization’s accounting needs. This is an on-site opportunity offering part-time hours with the potential to transition into a long-term role.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation.

• Perform reconciliation tasks for accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.

• Set up and implement a structured accounting system for future use.

• Schedule and coordinate tasks to streamline financial operations.

• Utilize QuickBooks Online to track and manage financial data.

• Maintain and organize files both physically and digitally.

• Support data entry and ensure timely processing of invoices.

• Collaborate with management to provide insights and recommendations on financial matters.

• Ensure proper use of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, for reporting and analysis.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for financial tracking and reporting.

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including OneDrive, for efficient file sharing and organization.

• Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Experience in scheduling and coordinating tasks preferred.

• Ability to work on-site in Eugene, Oregon.

• Excellent organizational skills to manage files and financial records effectively.
