Addiction Medicine Physician at Intermountain Health summary:

Responsible for maintaining, programming, and repairing specialty facility systems such as building management, fire alarm, and tube systems. Supervises and inspects maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely and proper work completion while coordinating with other trades. Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, manages work orders, and communicates effectively with clinical and management teams.

Job Description:

The Equipment Systems Specialist is responsible to maintain, program and/or repair the specialty system and controls within the facility (e.g., Building Management systems, Tube systems and fire alarm systems, etc.) This position also educates other maintenance staff and supervises, and inspects the work performed by the team and contract service providers, assuring that work is done properly and within a reasonable time frame. Coordinates with other trades to complete projects.

• Highly Preferred experience with: Control Access, Fire Door, Door Maintenance, and experience with Auto Doors

• Essential Functions:
• Maintains and distributes work orders, invoices and inventories, etc. as needed based upon priority and as directed by the department Manager.
• Oversees preventative and routine maintenance on facility equipment / systems to ensure the following:
  • Optimal operating efficiency
  • Safety
  • Hospital regulatory agencies requirements are met
• Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of policies and procedures relative to the department, Federal, State, Local, Joint Commission and Intermountain Healthcare
• Communicates effectively with team members, management and clinical staff to ensure successful repair outcomes and good customer relations
• May be assigned to participate in committees and sub-committees as needed
