Security Guard Position At Redstone Arsenal

Chenega is seeking dedicated and highly skilled Armed Security Guards to join our team at Redstone Arsenal. As an armed security guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and sensitive information. Your vigilance and professionalism will contribute to maintaining a secure environment for all.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control entry and exit points to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel are granted access.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor surveillance systems to detect and respond to any suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, following established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Prepare comprehensive reports as required.
• Provide excellent customer service to all personnel and visitors, addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all security policies, procedures, and regulations. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Secret Clearance.
• Must hold a valid Armed Guard License through the state of Alabama.
• One year of prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform the duties required, including standing, walking, and responding to emergencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Ability to identify and address potential security risks.
