At CJ Logistics, our Ocean Import-Export Coordinator is primarily responsible for operationally filing entry documents, tracking, and updating the movement of ocean freight, and ensuring compliance with import and export clearance regulations. Pay Range: $20.50 - $22.87 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
What you'll Do: - Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments daily
- Work collaboratively with the Traffic Department and Accounting to provide top-notch, timely, and efficient service to customers
- Monitoring of reports
- Accurate and timely billing to customers
- Providing customer service via email and telephone correspondence to address customer questions and concerns
- Ensure customer needs are consistently met and assist to resolve inquiries
- Expedite clearance and delivery to exceed customer requirements
- Work well in a team environment and assist other peers when needed
- Maintaining good relationships with various vendors such as carrier, truckers, terminals, etc.
- Process and manage import and/or export shipments
- Prepare price quotes on international freight
- Prepare necessary documents for shipments
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers as well as vendors specifically steamship lines and customs
- Research and resolve operational problems
- Ensure customer needs are consistently met and assist to resolve inquiries
- Expedite clearance and delivery to exceed customer requirements
What We're Looking For: - Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (required)
- Excellent listening and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, organize, and manage time effectively
- Previous experiences in logistics, cargo management, supply chain, customer service, dispatcher, warehouse, logistics specialist, administrative assistant, data entry, transportation, and logistics analyst is preferred
