Thoughtfully positioned in McKinney, Texas, we will offer a unique lifestyle for adults ages 55+ on 80 acres of beautiful rolling hills and cedar trees. Residents will enjoy inspired living in a variety of home types for independent living, assisted living, and memory care. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Building Services Technician starting at $20.00 per hour.\n\nAs a Building Services Technician, you will enrich lives each day by ensuring that all of the buildings and equipment on campus are in good condition and are operating properly and efficiently; that the grounds and common areas are attractive, clean, and well-maintained; and that requests for installation and repairs are responded to in a timely manner.

Your high-energy, dedicated attitude toward your work will allow residents to rest easy, knowing their homes and surroundings are in good hands!\n\nPosition Requirements:\n • On-call availability once per month. Must be able to respond with in one hour.\n • Organized, detail-conscious, and self-initiating\n • Outgoing, warm, friendly personality\n • Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment\n • Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy\n\n\nThe ideal candidate will:\n • Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity), as well as a desire to model these values and encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers\n • Be committed to and passionate about 100% customer satisfaction\n • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent\n • Have experience performing general maintenance in a community setting; previous experience working in a health care environment is a plus, but not required\n • Have basic knowledge of appliance repair, motor maintenance, and basic plumbing and electrical repair\n • Be able to read, write, and speak English\n • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors\n\n\nBenefits:\nTouchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
