About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer to serve as a dynamic, quality-focused, and collaborative physician leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of all essential medical services and clinical operations, ensuring compliance with standards set by the Board, Executive Management Team, and governmental regulations. This role involves acting as a subject matter expert for best practices in medical services and clinical operations, representing the organization at various professional meetings, and working with leadership to define performance standards and evaluation processes. The Chief Medical Officer will also lead the quality agenda for the hospital, assist with staffing and qualification reviews for physician needs, and contribute to the organization's strategic planning.

Ideal candidates for the Chief Medical Officer position at the company will be licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Georgia, board-certified in a specialty recognized by the ABMS, and preferably have a Master's degree in a relevant field. Previous experience as a Hospital CMO or in a position enforcing policy and bylaws is strongly preferred. The role requires a leader who can effectively manage and improve medical services and clinical operations, and who is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance in patient care.
