By leveraging strong writing, research, and editorial skills, this position ensures the creation and refinement of educational content that meets evolving industry standards and enhances learner engagement. Supervisory responsibilities None: This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. However, collaboration with team members, cross-functional coordination, and adherence to company policies and procedures are expected to contribute to overall team success. Manages the full lifecycle of assigned courses and projects, from initial development through ongoing updates driven by regulatory changes, learner feedback, and performance data. Researches, verifies, and writes course materials in response to a dynamic regulatory environment. Produces high-quality, engaging content that aligns with audience needs, editorial standards, and brand voice. Collaborates with the Content Curriculum Development Director to ensure compliance with regulatory and delivery requirements across product lines. Conducts subject matter and market research to ensure content is accurate, current, and relevant to learners. Applies adult learning principles to create clear, effective instructional materials. Utilizes knowledge of online learning platforms to optimize content for digital delivery and learner engagement. Trains and/or manages external contributors involved in the content development process. Monitors post-launch feedback to identify and implement content improvements. Maintains industry awareness to ensure content supports continuing education requirements. Partners with internal stakeholders to address product line needs and challenges. Responds to content-related inquiries from learners and stakeholders. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs Excellent organization skills and attention to detail Reliable and able to work independently Possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Required education and experience Bachelor's degree or higher; professional degree or professional designation helpful 2+ years' experience in substantive content editing is recommended Preferred education and experience 2+ years' experience in creating and developing training and educational materials for professionals and adult learners is recommended Industry experience in assigned subject area expertise Work environment This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement, in accordance with the employee handbook. Professional business attire may be required for client-facing interactions or formal meetings. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer and/or phone Occasional requirements to lift or transport light items (e.g., laptops or office materials), typically not exceeding 10 lbs. Travel Must be willing and able to travel to the corporate office in Dallas, TX, at least three times annually to be determined by the company. Approximately 20% travel per year for conferences, trade shows, and client visits.
