Job Description:

Jampack is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as the Director of Financial Planning and Analytics (FP&A). In this key leadership role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the financial strategy of a rapidly growing venture capital-backed startup. The ideal candidate will have more than 6 years of experience in financial planning and analytics, with a deep understanding of detailed forecasting for high-growth startups. 

Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with Jampack's business goals and objectives.

• Forecasting and Analysis: Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization.

• Budget Management: Oversee budgeting processes, providing insights to optimize resource allocation and drive financial efficiency.

• Performance Metrics: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights into business performance and contributing to continuous improvement.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including executive leadership, to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.

• Financial Reporting: Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.

• Process Improvement: Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Investment Evaluation: Evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions to support growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience: More than 6 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analytics, preferably within high-growth venture capital-backed startups, investment banking, or strategy consulting.

• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the unique financial considerations and challenges associated with events or travel based businesses.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

• Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
