DESCRIPTION:

• Annual volume; Approximately 16,000
• Level II
• One trauma room and 11 exam rooms
• Usual shift schedule equals 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next
• Flexible staffing model for per diem and part-time interest
• Join 5 current ER physicians
• Majority of patients are elderly with cardiac and respiratory complaints
• Facility utilizes fixed-wing air ambulance to transfer psychiatric, trauma, neurosurgical, and emergency cardiac patients 40 minutes to Level I.
• Hospital employed position

COMPENSATION:

• Hourly - Based experience level

REQUIRED:

• BC/BE Emergency Medicine
• BC/BE Primary Care with ED experience
• Must have completed a US residency/fellowship
• J-1 and H-1B visas will be considered
• ME medical license in good standing, or ability to obtain
