Ignite Visibility is a leading US-based digital marketing agency in San Diego, CA with fully remote first team.  This role is remote within the U.S., and residents of all 50 U.S. states are eligible to apply. We are looking for an experienced digital marketing freelance content writer with experience with local content and B2B to join our team for a 12-16 full time temporary project. Are you great at writing copy for local landing pages and enjoy working remotely? If so, our local content team needs your expertise! Ignite Visibility is looking for a Freelance Writer with experience writing state, city, and service area SEO content for multi-location and franchise companies. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing high-quality local SEO landing pages to help boost local rankings. They should have knowledge of how to incorporate local keywords into content in a natural way to make it more relevant to local audiences. This candidate will also be able to:

• Write original content that is tailored to a specific location
• Research the location to understand the local area and develop an understanding of the audience
• Use local keywords throughout the content in a natural way
• Extract key information from national data and summarize it in a way that is relevant to local services
• Ensure that the local information is consistent with the company's brand guidelines and reflects the unique characteristics of each local market
• Use national branding to promote localized campaigns that maintain brand integrity
• Grasp the client’s voice and brand
• Manage projects and complete content on time

Desired Qualifications

• Understanding of local SEO in order to create effective and engaging landing page content
• Portfolio showcasing multi-location and franchise writing abilities 
• Strong editing and proofreading skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation
