Human Resources Assistant

Yucaipa, CA | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | $21-$22/HR.

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Yucaipa, is seeking an entry-level Human Resources Assistant to support their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to begin or expand their career in HR while gaining hands-on experience in a professional, fast-paced environment.

This position is in-person only and requires consistent presence to provide daily support to employees and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily HR operations including onboarding, employee file maintenance, and responding to employee inquiries.
• Partner with management on personnel matters, compliance, and employee relations.
• Support the administration of HR policies, programs, and procedures.
• Promote a positive workplace culture built on professionalism, accountability, and respect.
• Assist in monitoring HR compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HR best practices and basic employment law.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in HR role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; HRIS/ATS experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Ability to handle workplace issues with professionalism, conflict resolution, and high emotional intelligence.
• Previous HR experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer.
• Must be able to navigate the facility and occasionally lift/push up to 20 lbs.
• Good eyesight, dexterity, and ability to distinguish colors.
