How a Software Developer will make an impact:

Contract requires US Citizenship. Candidate must be local to the Ashburn, VA office.

Job Responsibilities:

GDIT is seeking Software Developer to join our team.

• 5+ years of Java development experience, Java 8 and higher
• Experience developing against relational databases and solid SQL querying skills
• 5+ years' experience of programming frameworks like Spring or Angular
• 5+ years' experience with web services development SOAP/REST
• 5+ years' experience of UI development
• Experience writing automated unit tests
• Knowledge/experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and AWS
• Experience working on an Agile Team

What you'll need to succeed:

Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience Required Technical Skills: Java development experience, Java 8 and higher, Spring or Angular, SOAP/Rest

Security Clearance Level: CBP Public Trust Suitability Required Skills and Abilities: Location: Hybrid US Citizenship Required

Ability to obtain a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Public Trust Suitability (takes 4-6 weeks)

The likely salary range for this position is $105,622 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
