Job Description

As a Journeyman Plumber, you will handle a variety of plumbing tasks in industrial and commercial settings, ensuring projects are completed to code and client satisfaction. You’ll work on large-scale systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in industrial and commercial facilities, including piping, fixtures, and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve plumbing issues efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to meet project deadlines.
• Provide mentorship to apprentices and support team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Plumber license.
• Minimum of 5x years of experience in industrial and commercial plumbing.
• Proficiency in installing and servicing large-scale plumbing systems (e.g., HVAC, process piping, water treatment).
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with welding, soldering, and brazing for industrial applications.
• Familiarity with advanced plumbing technologies (e.g., BIM, Viega systems).
• OSHA certification or other safety training.
