Position Summary

Sharpe Law Group, PLLC is seeking a detail-oriented and highly professional full-time Legal Assistant to join our Dallas office. This individual will provide critical support to our attorneys and paralegals while ensuring our clients receive exceptional service at every step. The ideal candidate for Sharpe Law Group is organized, personable, resourceful, and committed to accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with answering multi-line phone system
  • Prepare outgoing mail to send via USPS, FedEx and courier
  • Assist with greeting clients and advisors for in-office meetings
  • Prepare client documents for meetings
  • Process executed documents for delivery to clients and advisors
  • Prepare client correspondence for attorney review
  • Assist attorneys with gathering client information
  • Email and mail client documents
  • Scan and save documents to client files
  • Notarize documents for clients
  • Stock workroom and kitchen with supplies
  • Send quarterly emails to advisor mailing list
  • Prepare and send DropBox links to clients and advisors
  • Prepare corporate documents and assist with entity formation with various government entities
  • Organize original client documents stored securely in on-site fireproof safes
  • Run errands, such as mail to post office or lunch pickups, as needed
  • Communicate closely with clients and advisors with professionalism and discretion

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) required; experience with legal or case management software a plus
