Job Description Floyd Lee Locums is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Urgent Care for a locum tenens job in Asheville, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Urgent Care Discipline: Nurse Practitioner Duration: 8 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Locum Tenens Schedule & Coverage Shifts: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (rotating); some weekends/holidays as needed Volume: Up to 40 patients per day; site average ~20/day Practice Setting: Outpatient urgent care Supervision: Independent practice; supervising physician provided off-site Candidate Requirements Provider Type: NP (Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Med-Peds) or PA (Certified through NCCPA) Board Certification: Required Licensure: Active NC license (NC only; no IMLC) Certifications Required: BLS Preferred but Not Required: ACLS, PALS, DOT certification Experience: Minimum 12 months urgent care/ER/acute care experience (new grads not accepted) Locations: Rockingham, Roanoke Rapids, Asheville, Candler, Roxboro, Wilson, Boone, Asheville, Henderson, Kinston, Wilmington, Goldsboro, Roxboro, About Floyd Lee Locums At Floyd Lee Locums, we're redefining what locum tenens can offer nurse practitioners.
