Description
SAIC is seeking a Material Coordinator for our customer site in Hanahan, SC.
The Material Coordinator role Includes receiving material into warehouse, completing receiving documentation in database, and notifying projects that their items are in.
Receiving includes off-loading by hand from delivery trucks, and also unloading via pallet jack or motorized forklift, as needed.
The Material Coordinator coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors' priorities.
Employee will compile report of quantity and type of material on hand, move or transport material from one department to another, using hand or industrial truck.
Another segment of this position is the maintaining of the TVI Program Master Material List in SharePoint.
This position also requires a knowledge of shipping outgoing material and obtaining quotes and prices for such.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma
Two (2) years of warehouse experience to include: performing inventory, staging, packing, storage and shipping of electronic equipment and related material; operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment; and utilizing a computer-based inventory and bar coding system for entry, identification and tracking of material
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a public trust
