The City of Port Allen is now accepting applications for the position of Meter Reader Trainee.
Applicants must possess the following qualifications:
1. A valid Louisiana driver’s license.
2. Ability to work effectively with other employees and the general public.
3. Ability to perform heavy manual tasks.
4. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
5. Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Successful applicants will be subject to both pre-employment and on-going random substance abuse testing in accordance with federal and municipal regulations. Salary is determined by experience.
