Responsibilities: Work on investments in and the formation of domestic and international private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds. Advise clients on secondary transactions, structuring separately managed accounts, and structuring carry vehicles. Provide legal support in the formation, structuring, and management of investment funds. Draft and negotiate relevant agreements and transaction documents. Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on complex investment transactions. Requirements: Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where applying. 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment funds, private equity, real estate, venture capital, or hedge funds. Experience with secondary transactions, separately managed accounts, and structuring carry vehicles is preferred. AmLaw 100 firm experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and good business judgment. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong research, conceptual thinking, and ability to influence others. Persuasive communication and management skills. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties, both verbally and in writing. Deliver high-quality, timely work products and meet deadlines. Foster positive working relationships and comply with firm policies. Manage competing demands and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Engage in both sedentary and physical activities, including working at a computer and participating in virtual meetings.
