HSHS St. Anthony's Hospital is recruiting a Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for our Level 2 Nursery team Effingham, IL. HSHS St. Anthony's Hospital works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus along with a set base salary and annual CME funds.

Position Details:
- 87, 24-hour shifts per year
- All shifts are spent in house at the hospital.
- Self-scheduling is completed monthly with the NNP team
- Rotating requirement of weekends and holidays
- NNP on shift will cover the level 2 nursery and attend all high risk deliveries

Compensation & Benefits Package:
- $20,000 sign-on bonus available
- Base guarantee salary
- CME reimbursement per fiscal year

Position Requirements:
- Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
- Board Certified
- 2+ years of prior practicing experience is strongly preferred, but not required.

Education Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nursing is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.
Experience Qualifications
  • Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
  • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
  • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
  • Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
  • Federal DEA license is preferred.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
