Job Description
Role Summary
We are a busy and well-established Family Medicine practice in Brooklyn, New York seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. The NP/PA will provide comprehensive primary and urgent care to patients of all ages while working closely with our physicians and clinical staff in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Hours of Operation
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (until Daylight Saving ends on Nov 1, then 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Schedule
Full-time or part-time available
Must be available for some evenings and some weekend days, based on clinic needs
What You’ll Do
Provide primary and urgent care services to patients of all ages
Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
Prescribe medications and perform minor procedures within scope of practice
Deliver patient education and preventive care counseling
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
What We’re Looking For
Current New York State NP or PA license and certification (NCCPA for PA, ANCC/AANP for NP)
Experience in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care preferred
Russian-speaking candidates preferred (not required)
Strong diagnostic, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, community-focused environment
