In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with regulations across multiple states. Responsibilities:

• Process full-cycle payroll operations for a workforce exceeding 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Manage multi-state payroll compliance, including adherence to state-specific tax regulations.

• Oversee payroll tax filings and maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.

• Utilize UKG Pro and other payroll systems to streamline processing and reporting.

• Address payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries related to compensation and taxes.

• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to support payroll audits and reporting requirements.

• Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure processes align with legal standards.

• Generate comprehensive payroll reports for management review and decision-making.

• Contribute to process improvements and system optimizations within payroll operations.

• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing for large organizations.
• Expertise in managing multi-state payroll operations and compliance.
• Familiarity with payroll systems such as UKG Pro and ADP Workforce Now.
• Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and filing requirements.
• Ability to handle payroll for over 500 employees while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and employee concerns.
• Knowledge of payroll-related laws and best practices.
