Title: Pharmacy Manager

Duration: Direct Hire

Schedule: Variable - Evenings required at times

Hours: Typically works 4x10 or 4x12 schedules (i.e. 8 am-8 pm)

Duties:

• Register with the state board of pharmacy as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations and company policies.
• Oversee the entire operation of the pharmacy department to achieve financial goals, including budget, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Participate in business development activities in the store and community.
• Manage pharmacy support personnel functions within the department, including job performance and review.
• Provide guidance and training to pharmacy associates and ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
• Ensure completion of all company-required training by pharmacy associates.
• Participate in patient-centered services, including immunization, MTM, and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and medical providers regarding medication use, dosage, drug interactions, and side effects.
• Monitor patient health and progress to ensure compliance and optimize therapies.
• Maintain and participate in continuous quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety.
• Use professional judgment to provide exemplary service within the pharmacists scope of practice.
• Maintaining a neat, clean, organized workstation according to company standards.
• Complete continuing education programs as required by state law.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Ideal Candidate:

• VT License
• Immunization Certification (Required)
• Must be comfortable giving all vaccines (Required)
• Recent Pharmacy Manager experience (preferred)
