Quix Recruitment is partnering with a global trading firm to hire a Quantitative Researcher. This role focuses on designing and testing innovative trading strategies and models by applying advanced quantitative techniques to large financial datasets.

You will be expected to drive research initiatives from concept through validation, collaborating closely with developers and traders to implement strategies that generate alpha.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and research quantitative trading models using statistical and machine learning methods.
• Analyze large datasets to identify market signals and patterns.
• Validate model performance through rigorous backtesting and out-of-sample testing.
• Collaborate with software engineers to translate research into deployable strategies.
• Present findings and recommendations to traders and senior management.

Experience & Skills

• Strong background in statistics, mathematics, or related quantitative fields.
• Proficiency with Python, R, MATLAB, or similar analytical tools.
• Experience with large-scale data analysis and statistical modeling.
• Knowledge of financial markets and trading instruments.
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts clearly.
