Position SummaryWe are seeking Athletic Trainers (ATCs) , Physical Therapists (PTs) , and Chiropractors (DCs) who are passionate about sports performance, injury prevention, and golf-specific care to join our UGP Recovery Team .
This position is a highly valued role within the UGP system—serving as the steward of every client's health, safety, and performance longevity. In this cash-based, sports performance setting, you'll have the freedom to provide one-on-one, golf-specific care without the constraints of insurance billing.
Recovery Specialists collaborate closely with our Golf and Fitness departments to help clients move, feel, and perform their best on and off the course.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive golf-specific movement screens and orthopedic examinations.
Develop and deliver individualized treatment and performance plans.
Collaborate with Golf Coaches and Fitness Trainers to ensure integrated client development.
Provide world-class recovery sessions that include manual therapy, mobility work, and corrective exercise.
Educate clients on injury prevention, movement efficiency, and sustainable performance.
Create a five-star client experience by anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
Maintain accurate session documentation and professional communication with the team.
Uphold the cleanliness, organization, and operational standards of the UGP facility.
Required:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) , Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) , or Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) credential.
Expertise in soft tissue and joint mobilization techniques.
Certifications in corrective exercise or strength & conditioning (e.g., CSCS, NASM, FRC, TPI).
Strong communication, empathy, and professionalism.
Detail-oriented with strong time management and follow-through.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Preferred:
Background in golf, athletics, or sports performance environments.
Experience in a cash-based or private pay setting.
Sales or client acquisition experience in performance or wellness industries.
Full-time position (Monday–Friday, with weekend availability as needed).
In-person at one of UGP's five locations: Austin, El Segundo, Orange County, Santa Monica, or West LA.
