About the role: Our client is seeking an intelligent and resourceful Recruiter with HR knowledge to lead US recruiting efforts alongside a small global HR team. As a Recruiter, you will manage the full-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing, hiring, and onboarding. Responsibilities for the Recruiter: Recruitment: Source and attract candidates via social media, job boards, and placement agencies. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting to expand the candidate pipeline. Utilize Boolean Logic, x-raying, and networking to find the best suitable candidates. Collaborate with hiring managers to write and manage job descriptions. Conduct phone and in-person interviews. Manage the entire hiring process end-to-end. Oversee onboarding of new employees. Serve as the main point of contact with recruitment agencies. Human Resources: Manage additional HR activities in the NY office, aligning HR strategies with the global team. Advise and assist staff and management on employment standards and legislation, including workers' compensation, labor laws, benefits, etc. Build and maintain relationships with employees to understand internal processes, needs, and issues. Liaise with management on employee relations issues. Ensure HR processes and procedures align with HR directives. Support company well-being initiatives, such as happy hours and activities. Participate in cross-HR projects. Ideal Requirements for the Recruiter: At least 3 years of experience as a Recruiter in hi-tech or startup companies. Proven sourcing experience for customer-facing roles (Marketing, Sales, etc.). Excellent communicator, team player, hardworking, independent, and personable. Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media recruitment tools. Can-do attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of US Employment Law. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree is a plus.
