Regional Marketing Specialist

Summary of Responsibilities

The Regional Marketing Specialist serves as part of the business partner team that drives property marketing performance in a region and/or portfolio of multi?family properties. This position suggests and implements innovative marketing solutions that leverage Avenue5s best?in?class techniques to maximize property performance. The role will assist in day?to?day brand identity development and execution of integrated marketing programs, while reviewing and analyzing regional performance metrics to gauge ROI and propose creative improvements.

Primary Responsibilities and Objectives


  • Collaborate with on?site property and corporate marketing teams to design customized growth strategies for all properties in the region or assigned portfolio.
  • Recommend effective property marketing programs and offerings (demand generation, retargeting, marketing automation, digital and social media) in conjunction with the regional marketing manager.
  • Implement creative, dynamic campaigns using both digital and traditional channels (brochures, flyers, posters, postcards, direct mail, billboards, email, landing pages, microsites, social media, radio).
  • Partner with on?site property marketing teams to develop collateral for websites, ILS, Craigslist, social media, and print.
  • Understand client and company objectives to maximize marketing and performance.
  • Assist in reviewing and analyzing the budget for each property with the operations team and clients.
  • Analyze market landscape, technology trends, and competitors to inform marketing strategy.
  • Maintain knowledge of all Avenue5 product features and benefits in the multi?family space.
  • Collaborate with on?site sales teams on exceptional sales techniques and salesmanship.
  • Participate in new business development (RFP/RFI) responses with sales and client services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience
  • Bachelors degree is required.
  • Three to five years of direct real estate multi?family marketing experience within property management.
  • Two to three years of pre?development, lease?up, and/or grand opening experience is preferred.
  • Two to three years of advanced proficiency in social engagement and marketing campaign management on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Two to three years of experience with websites, ILS, Craigslist, SEO, SEM, and digital data aggregators.
  • Two to three years of experience with Yardi Voyager Marketing, RealPage, or equivalent systems.
  • Two to three years of digital, creative, and branding agency experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in Google Drive, Google Analytics and Google AdWords is preferred.


Skills and Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast?paced environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional conceptual and creative thinking; solid knowledge of typography, color theory, design, and layout principles.
  • Exceptional project management skills (PMP certification is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of property management industry trends and emerging technology.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and go?getter attitude with proven ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Positive demeanor, voracious appetite for learning, and excellent professional judgment.


Required to complete and successfully pass Avenue5 Fair Housing and Preventing Discrimination and Harassment training and other courses, if assigned.

Scheduling


  • Maintain a regular schedule that may require working outside business hours, weekends, and non?traditional holidays.
  • Hybrid: work from home with site visits to local properties.
  • Ability to travel (25%).

  • Exposure to a typical office building setting.

  • Visual requirements including color, depth perception, and field vision.
  • Ability to compare, copy, coordinate, synthesize, negotiate, communicate, and instruct.
  • Ability to tolerate stressful situations.
  • Ability to work under minimal to moderate supervision.
