Mortgage Underwriter - Join our underwriting team supporting broker loan processing. You’ll evaluate applications, ensure compliance, and drive high‑quality decisions within a structured, end‑to‑end workflow.
What you’ll do
Underwrite 2–3 new files/day and process 6–8 final approvals/day (volume dependent).
Partner with Loan Structure & Precision Income teams to finalize approvals.
Perform credit reviews and quality control; approve/deny loans promptly.
Ensure adherence to investor guidelines (FHA, HUD, VA, VA IRRRL, VA SAR, TrumsID Registration) and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with clients and compliance to resolve documentation issues.
What you bring
3+ years mortgage underwriting experience; strong FHA/VA/conventional knowledge.
Proficiency with AUS, Encompass, and Excel; understanding of HMDA and federal/state regs.
Preferred: FHA/HUD/VA credentials (incl. VA SAR) and TrumsID Registration.

Extensive paid training 60–75 days (11:00 AM–6:00 PM EST)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
