General Overview

We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Part-Time Security Officer to monitor our occupied properties across Savannah during late-night hours. The ideal candidate will patrol assigned locations, respond to incidents, and ensure guest and property safety after hours.

Essential Functions

• Drive to all occupied properties throughout Savannah during scheduled shifts to monitor for disturbances or unusual activity.
• Conduct noise level checks and ensure guests are adhering to house rules.
• Respond promptly to security concerns, including guest disputes, unauthorized access, or suspicious behavior.
• Address noise complaints reported by neighbors, guests, or property managers.
• Document incidents and submit security logs or reports following each shift.
• Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain a high level of visibility and professionalism while on duty.
• Perform other late-night issue resolution tasks as needed (e.g., property damage, lockouts).
  

Requisites

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Own a reliable vehicle and maintain active auto insurance.
• Previous security, law enforcement, or property management experience preferred.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and de-escalate tense situations.
• Strong communication and observational skills.
• Must be trustworthy, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Must be available every Thursday–Saturday from 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM.
