Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repairs, with a focus on trailers and related equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is capable of working independently and as part of a team to ensure the safety and functionality of our fleet.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including brakes, lights, and suspension systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Weld and solder components as needed to ensure structural integrity.
• Align trailer axles and wheels to manufacturer specifications.
• Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment safely during repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with trailers or heavy-duty vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in welding, soldering, aligning, and other mechanical repair techniques.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to mechanics are a plus.
