Senior Software Engineer

Location: Remote (Final Interview Will Be In Person) 

Salary: $100k-$140k 

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to lead our software development team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in software engineering and be proficient in Linux environments. This role involves driving technical direction, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the architecture and design of innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of software solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver project requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex software issues and optimize performance.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to ensure the team is using best practices.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of software systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure quality of code through continuous integration and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Linux.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and experience with embedded systems.
• Experience in network engineering concepts and practices.
• Familiarity with Android AOSP development is a plus.
• Strong management skills and experience leading engineering teams.
• Knowledge of ARM and x86 architectures is preferred.
