The Role 

The Social Impact Specialist (Contract) will support the Impact team with events, communications and strategy. You will advance impact programming that engages employees in volunteerism and lead events that benefit our non-profit partners. This role will report to the Sr. Manager of Impact. 

Scope of Responsibility: 

• Assist with the development and execution of Fetch it Forward community programming and events. This includes in-office and virtual experiences. 
• Assist with planning, execution and tracking of team member volunteer opportunities through the management of our employee volunteerism platform. 
• Provide programmatic administrative support for the Sr. Manager of Impact. 
• Assists in communicating strategic messaging to internal and external audiences. This includes social media platforms, the Fetch Blog, end of year impact report, Slack recaps and our internal People Portal site. 
• Lead foundational work for our Defeat the Odds Pitch Competition.
• Assist with the development of our AI for Entrepreneurs curriculum.
• Support ERG Tentpole events when needed.

Skills and Experience: 

• 1-3 years of corporate social responsibility or non-profit work and partnering with cross-functional teams to coordinate, develop and execute projects, programs and events.
• Ability to analyze impact measurement and evaluation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Past experience creating professional content on social media platforms, and/or company internal or external communications.
• Previous experience building STEM programming and working with youth organizations a plus.
• Support the creation of playbooks and event recaps. 
• Must be extremely detail-oriented.
• Preference to candidates that are located near one of our five US office locations (Boston, Birmingham, Chicago, Madison or New York City). 

Pay: 

$30 per hour

Six-Month Contract
