JOB SUMMARY: Provides clients with a full range of massage modalities.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Performs massage therapy and touch modalities, which include Deep Tissue,
Sport, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Prenatal and Reflexology. Hot Stone maintains accurate documentation and filing of client files after each visit.

o Conducts massage consultations, recommends stretches for clients at home
maintenance, and provides guidance and wellness advice to clients.

o Maintains the treatment rooms in a neat professional manner including stocking
products and linens, cleaning and instrument sterilization. Replaces massage
linens on tables so that the room ready for the next client.

o Arrives fifteen (15) minutes prior to scheduled work time and may be required to
stay fifteen (15) minutes later beyond work schedule if still with client.

o Conducts massage therapy and massage modalities as listed in the Spa
brochure and Spa Menu unless otherwise indicated by Spa Manager.

o Maintains and increases knowledge of massage therapy treatments by sharing
technique skills with fellow massage staff during in-house instruction, and
education/training classes provided by a Certified Massage Therapy Institution.

o Presents a professional, well groomed appearance; provided uniforms must be
worn at all times in the Spa and must be laundered and pressed. Works
effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a
constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas
and suggestions from others; keeping commitments; keeping others informed of
work progress, timetables and issues; addressing problems and issues
constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.

Addressing others by name, title or other respectful identifier, and; respecting the diversity of our work force in actions, words and deeds.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A current valid Florida State Massage Therapist license required. Prefer a minimum of 2 years of previous massage therapy experience.

acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to occasionally travel by car for business purposes.
