Job Description

Position Overview

The Stile Stylist is motivated and engaged in an effort to maintain/grow a customer base and hit personal and location sales plans. They create an exceptional in-store experience, build relationships with clients, and generate sales by bringing clientele back into the store with personalized customer outreach.

Duties/Expectations include, but are not limited to the following

SALES

  • Meets or exceeds personal sales plans monthly.
  • Develops a clientele and contacts customers daily through One Shop. 
  • Creates an exceptional in-store experience by greeting customers, informing them of current sales/promotions, and assisting them as needed.
  • Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting different styles of potential interest and incorporating latest trends/current promotions based on the customer’s individual style. 
  • Provides the customer with product knowledge to enhance customer engagement and maximize sales. 
  • Helps customers make selections by building customer confidence; offers suggestions and opinions.
  • Builds and cultivates effective relationships with customers. 
  • Accurately performs register sales transactions in a timely manner while following procedures in the Operations Binder. 
  • Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
  • Commits to delivering an optimistic, high-energy, and team-oriented store atmosphere.
  • Provides team support by helping to complete tasks, sharing knowledge, or assisting in customer interactions. 

OPERATIONS

  • Fully understands and implements Stile’s policies and procedures.
  • Proactively resolves customer concerns in a manner consistent with Stile’s policies, keeping customer satisfaction in mind. Consults with the Store Manager if necessary.
  • Ensures that all online and over-the-phone orders are fulfilled, properly packaged, and shipped in a timely manner.
  • Maintains the accuracy of receipt issues and re-completes sales to keep the inventory correct when necessary. 
  • Understands that clients are the number one priority, but makes time to maintain a clean, organized, and neat sales floor/fitting room(s) to ensure the store environment is presentable for customers. 
  • Ensures that all daily tasks have been fulfilled and accounted for.
  • Maintains the integrity of inventory by effectively and efficiently handling all merchandise. 
  • Integrates new inventory into current store displays, keeping color stories consistent and racks/tables/shelves looking visually pleasing. 
  • Shows competence and confidence in their day-to-day duties.

SCHEDULING

  • Must be available to work retail hours including weekends, store events, and holiday weekends. 
  • Maintains a high level of punctuality and reliability at all times.

Qualifications

  • Full-Time: 1+ years retail experience required.
  • Part-Time: Experience is not required, but preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Sufficient fashion credibility to sell merchandise to customers.
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with technology and ability/comfort level to operate a point of sale system.
  • Schedule flexibility to accommodate the hours of a retail store.
