Job Description

Position Summary: Responsible for providing assistance to the assistant store manager in retail operations as well as supporting customer service initiatives.

Essential Duties:

• Support assistant manager in all areas of personnel management.
• Oversee daily cash transactions
• Support assistant and general manager in all daily store operations
• Maintain store appearance and product presentation to company standards
• Provide support to sales associates during peak periods or when scheduling conflicts arise
• Prepare and complete daily shift reports
• Ordering product and checking in inventory, pricing and stocking of product.
• Coach and train retail associates on the proper execution of store duties
• Responsible for the opening and closing of store including shift paperwork and opening/closing duties.
• Accurate ordering and receiving responsibilities
• End of day final reconciliation of tills

Non-Essential Duties:

Other duties as assigned and requested.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years retail/convenience store experience
• Two or Four year degree preferred

Skills Required:

• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in a team based, collaborative environment is highly desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Basic math skills a must.
