Job Description

Insight Global is seeking 1 Art Therapist to support Baltimore County Public School System. The schools that need support are in the central/east area of Baltimore County with some in the northwest are of the county. There are about 20 students who receive direct service (11 have weekly, 17 are twice a month and there are just a few consults). The School Art Therapist will be responsible for providing art therapy services to students within the school system, addressing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and educational challenges. This role involves the development and implementation of individualized and group art therapy programs, aimed at enhancing students' mental health and academic performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' emotional, psychological, and social needs through art-based evaluations.
Design and facilitate individual and group art therapy sessions tailored to students' therapeutic goals.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other mental health professionals to create comprehensive support plans.
Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
Provide crisis intervention as necessary and contribute to a supportive school environment.

LGPAT or LCPAT
Masters degree in art therapy or related field
Previous experience working as an Art Therapist
