Job Description
Pioneer Tank Lines is a small, family-owned transportation company specializing in hazardous materials and hazardous waste. Safety is our top priority for our drivers and the public, and it shows in our strong FMCSA safety scores.
We operate nationwide, primarily in the Upper Midwest, running a mix of dedicated and varied lanes with limited brokered freight. Most outbound loads are preloaded, many deliveries are drop-and-hook, and we focus on maximizing drive time and efficiency. Drivers are home weekly, with Sunday departures required 1–2 times per month.
*Location Requirement (Required)*
Drivers must live within approximately one hour of Afton, MN.
Drivers report to and from our Afton yard weekly, and trucks are kept at our yard during resets.
This position is not a remote OTR role and is not open to out-of-state applicants.
*Experience Requirements (Required)*
To be considered, applicants must meet all of the following:
* Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience
* Must meet one of the following:
* At least 1 year of consecutive OTR experience if new to hazardous materials, or
* Prior hazardous materials experience if new to OTR
Drivers who are new to both OTR and hazardous materials cannot be considered.

* How long have you had your Class A CDL?
* Are you able to read, write, and speak English well enough to understand DOT regulations, safety instructions, shipping papers, and communicate with dispatch?
* This position requires weekly resets at our Afton, MN shop. Do you live within approximately one hour and can reliably drive to and from the shop each week?
