Fleet Maintenance Manager – Northeast Logistics

Salary $85,000 - $100,000 + Great Benefits + Paid Relocation to the NE USA

We are recruiting a skilled and proactive Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and performance of our fleet multiple Northeast Logistics (NEL) terminals . This Fleet Maintenance Manager leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance operations, while supporting shop teams and collaborating with NEL management.

As the Fleet Maintenance Manager, your key responsibilities are:

· Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs for fleet vehicles.

· Supervise multiple maintenance shops and direct hourly maintenance staff.

· Plan, schedule, and document repair work to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency.

· Monitor shop performance, fleet costs, and implement process improvements.

· Manage vendor relationships and procurement recommendations.

· Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and industry standards.

· Support warranty recovery programs and lifecycle cost analysis.

· Maintain inventory and parts availability across terminals.

· Serve as the primary contact for internal customers and senior leadership.

· Travel up to 75% to support terminal operations and external vendors.

Minimum requirements for this Fleet Maintenance Manager position:

· Must have High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.

· CDL preferred; ASE T Master Certification or CAFM credentials a plus.

· Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety practices, and fleet systems.

· At least 5 years of fleet maintenance experience, including diesel/heavy equipment repair.

· Supervisory or management experience required.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and fleet management software.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to travel up to 75% to support terminal operations and external vendors.
