Job Title: Heavy Equipment Truck Operator

Job Description

As a Heavy Equipment Truck Operator, you will operate off-road dump trucks to transport earth and rock on a commercial job site in USA Parkway, NV. This position involves working with heavy equipment in commercial and civil construction, earthwork, and earth moving.

Responsibilities

• Operate off-road dump trucks to move earth and rock within the commercial job site.
• Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of dirt, as well as pulling behind scrapers.
• Adhere to a strict schedule, working from 6am to 6pm, Monday through Saturday, with potential extended hours on Saturdays.
• Maintain flexibility to be transferred to other out-of-state sites as needed.
• Comply with safety protocols and site code of conduct.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment.
• Experience in commercial and civil construction, particularly in earthwork and earth moving.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to pass an MVR check.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to travel and adapt to different work sites.
• Flexibility with work hours, including working 10-12+ hours a day.
• Capability to be insured to operate company vehicles for travel to other job sites.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, Nevada.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
