Position Title: Network Engineer (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Location: Towson, Maryland 21204 Duration: 6+ month contract Pay: $50/hr - $72/hr on W2 Active Certification Required: CCNA or CCNP or CCIE certification (any one certification is acceptable). Responsibilities Cisco IOS - Routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, PfR, VPC, etc…) Load balancing/Malware/Content filtering Management Engineer, deploy and support Wireless and Wired networks. Perform site surveys (wired and wireless) as needed to develop and deploy wired and wireless networks. Review plans for accuracy, completeness, and content, ensuring compliance with security and best practice requirements. Work with Information Security and Systems teams to ensure complete collaboration and transparency. Determine the solution configuration needed to develop, modify, and implement the network architecture and operations that permit effective sharing and transmission of information among customers. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor of Science degree. Five years of Network Engineer experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous IT work lead experience is preferred. Previous IT experience in government is preferred.
