Essential Functions - Conducts chemical analysis of specimens, including blood and urine to determine presence of normal and abnormal components.
- Prepares and stains cytological and fluid specimens.
- Operates equipment used in quantitative analysis.
- Enters data from analysis of medical test and clinical results into the data management system.
- Responsible for properly closing down instruments and lab at night if working the late evening shift. This includes securing lab and performing shut-down of chemistry analyzer.
- Proper storing of blood and urine samples that have been collected and received during the evening shifts for possible further analysis the following day.

Minimum Qualifications - Currently enrolled Auburn University student.
- Open to Pre-Vet students, Animal Dairy Science majors, COSAM majors, first-third year vet students and anyone interested in applying to a veterinary program.
Preferred Qualifications Vet experience is a plus but not needed, as we provide training.
Pay Rate $14.00/hour
